Graves into Gardens

Call me biased (Elevation choir), but Elevation Worship just released their new album, Graves into Gardens, and I am so so so impressed. I've been part of the church since 2006, so I've been around for numerous worship songs and album releases, but Graves into Gardens is hands down my favorite Elevation Worship album released to date.

I had the unique privilege of attending the live recording for this album and let me tell you, the atmosphere in the building was pure insanity ... unprecedented even for my hard rock church. ;) Special guests Brandon Lake, Tauren Wells, Isaiah Templeton, Kari Jobe, and Cody Carnes were featured both as worship leaders and writers on it, so you know it's going to be next level!

My personal favorite, and now all-time favorite Elevation Worship song ever written is, "There is a King." That song literally transports me to a different place. It wrecks me, bringing me to tears each and every time I play it, and I can't help but picture what it will be like to meet Jesus face to face.

But, every song on this album is beyond special and anointed. They are awesome. I could go on and on about what it was like to learn "Graves into Gardens" for the first time or how powerful it was to sing "The Blessing" over our church before the stay-at-home orders were put in place or what it was like to hear the release of "Rattle!" on Easter, but I won't be able to do the songs justice.

You'll just have to see for yourself. Enjoy. :)
